The program prepares students for employment opportunities and career  success at all levels of policing and related jurisdictions and justice professions.

This program is a joint initiative between the Police Learning System Advisory Committee and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to establish minimum entrance standards for police services in Ontario.

In just 52 weeks students can start a satisfying career in this field.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

• Firearms Safety Training 
• Classes led by qualified instructors, many of whom are retired Police Officers 
• Preparation for Security License 
• Potential for PREP (Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police) fitness testing/certification  
• Free Microsoft Office, DreamSpark Standard and Office 8 Upgrade

Employment Opportunities: This comprehensive program qualifies graduates for career opportunities with various  municipal Police Services, Ontario Polices Services, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Out-of-Province Police Services, Canadian Armed Forces, By-Law Enforcement,  Campus Police, Customs Services, Correctional Services, Conservation Officers and Park Wardens and Court Services – ­to name a few.
