This 32-week diploma program is fully instructor-led, allowing students to gain knowledge quickly through architectural design concepts to building construction.
The Architecture Design and Building Technician Diploma program consists of 16 core courses. With the exception of the practicum all courses are classroom-based lectures and hands-on laboratories.
Successful students are primarily suitable for employment in the Architecture, Building Design and Construction industries or where CAD skills are required. Employment opportunities and further studies may also be pursued in areas such as Interior Design, Construction management, Structural Engineering or any construction related field of studies. Instruction in the latest computer aided design techniques and plenty of free laboratory time ensures that students will have the knowledge, skills, and competency to enter this labor force immediately upon graduation. Students will acquire situational-specific skills and identify areas that may need to be developed further. Students will receive feedback and evaluation of their performance and gain important contacts in this diverse field.
