The Foundations Course at Suki’s Academy is specifically designed for those who are interested in hair styling but who want to go beyond just learning the basic skills. The Foundations Course is comprehensive and all-inclusive, giving students a powerful education in the technical, artistic and business side of the industry. Our curriculum is based on the principles and values that have made Suki's a world-renowned industry leader.

Small class sizes to a maximum of ten students per class are taught by Suki’s own senior stylists and colour technicians, who use their expertise to train you in every aspect of hair styling: consultations, colour, men’s and women’s cuts, finishing, up-dos, extensions and product recommendation. We prepare you to write the Beauty Council exam, which shows potential employers that your skills and knowledge are absolutely up to industry standards. Field trips, practical work experience and extensive work on mannequins and live models will give you the confidence you need to succeed in the salon industry.
